  What do you do when you were never sent the title to a vehicle you bought in OKC, and the man you bought it from is MIA.. Am I screwed? Does anyone know a notary who might sign it over to me.. This Sucks. If anyone has any suggestions please help. My paper tag expired yesterday.

  Notary can't sign it over. We got this question a lot in small claims and I know if you call up to the civil department and ask that question they will be able to tell you what you can do. Call tomorrow between 8-5 918-596-5456 Mark or Ella might be able to answer that question, but I am pretty sure if it is a title it would have to be handled in civil. They usually tell people you have to sue to get the title, but the only thing is if you don't know his address you won't be able to have him served, so spending the money on suing to get to title in your name, will only be wasting your money.
