Hi all. Can anyone recommend a structural engineer? It's for advice on a kitchen extension. Thanks!
Paula P. replied:
I work for a structural engineer. He charges £50 to come and discuss your requirements and take all necessary measurements. Then he advises on the cost of any plans needed. We also work in conjunction with builders - one stop shop - or you find your own builder/kitchen fitters. John Frankland Associates 020 8309 1347. Checks trade approved. Ring in the morning and speak to me!
Hello Plumstead Folk - I need to find a Quantity Surveyor and a Structural Engineer for a residential extension. Does anyone know any local ones by chance?
Paula P. replied:
If you want to "shop around" John charges £50 to come to the property for the initial survey, payable on or before the appointment. Then when he knows how much work will be involved he can do a written estimate. He knows his stuff - he used to teach students at Greenwich University. Haven't got the email to hand (she blushed) but the phone number is 020 8309 1347. Just saying!
