  Michael D. wrote: PSA: Beware of Daniel Hovey of Hovey Services from Cedar Falls Iowa. Dean Properties recently won a judgement against Him and his business! Hovey Services is a plumbing / HVAC business. Daniel Hovey of "Hovey Service" was hired to do Plumbing & HVAC work on our 8 plex project. He was given approximately $28k to purchase materials (i.e. Furnaces, AC, water heaters, tubs, toilets etc..) for our project. These materials were never received. Daniel Hovey did nothing but lie and waste our time before ultimately abandoning the project and ran off with approximately $28k! We're not telling you not to use Hovey Service but buyer beware! The Iowa Contractor Registration website shows Hovey Services LLC expired 01/05/2016 and now is not registered!
