  My daughter hit a deer (really, it hit HER) a couple weeks ago and her car is pretty damaged. She’s already gotten a replacement car since we had dropped comprehensive coverage and won’t be getting her old car fixed. So I’m looking for someone to come take away her old car. Salvage yard maybe? I’ve seen ads in the paper for places who have free towing, free notary plus pay a little for the car. Any recommendations? I don’t suppose there’s much of a market for an 11 year old Toyota with 180,000+ miles and quite a bit of body damage.

  Looking for recommendations on someone that will remove a junk car from my driveway. Car (95 Subaru Legacy) starts with jump and drives but the windshield is smashed in and there's some significant body damage so I can't really drive it. Not really looking to get any money for it also not trying to pay too much out of pocket, just need it gone. The few places I've contacted don't service my area (Olympic valley). Also many of the parts are salvageable if anyone's in need of parts for a late 90s Subaru Legacy wagon. Have pictures if necessary.

  Hi. We're buying a new car & our current car is broken down (power steering problem) at the shop. There are no other known problems, but it's old & is becoming too unreliable for our primary car. It's worth very little at trade in, whether we spend the $ for the repair or not. Does anyone have suggestions for someone who buys cars in disrepair (for parts or metal, or to fix and re-sell) or know of any charitable organization that would take a car like this? Thanks!
