  does anyone know if you need to be on antibiotics a week before a root canal ( mine is scheduled for tues) to make sure no infection and if you are in chronic pain does that always mean infection? i am gettting conflicting info, thanks! would like to hear from people who have experience in this area please:) the dentist clinic that scheduled the root canal did not mention anything about me needing to be on antibiotics.
