So my husband has finally convinced me to cut my one year-old's hair. Any recommendations in Gainesville for somebody who was good with fidgety one-year-olds!

Downtown barbershop in downtown Gainesville, Lisa, has been great with my son who's about to turn two. We go every couple of weeks when his dad needs a cut and they both get taken care of, and they take walk ins. Just have to make sure Lisa is there, idk if any of the other people do kids but she's amazing and patient. :) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Downtown-Barbershop/149563928440623
Are there any good barber shops? Today i (a guy) went and got my haircut at great clips and it was a terrible experience. the girl cutting my hair seemed like she was just out of salon school and really just tried to sell me hair care products. I'm not satisfied with the cut i got and dont plan on going back
Are there any traditional barber shops in gainesville? Where the barber (preferably a guy) went to barber school as opposed to salon school? an added bonus would be if they can perform shaves as well. a place like that surely exists in gainesville right?

I've heard good things about the [Downtown Barber Shop](http://www.dtbarbershop.com/) (reviews on [Yelp](http://www.yelp.com/biz/downtown-barber-shop-gainesville)). I'm bald and haven't been to a barber in many years. :)
