The classes are great I'm sure, but the communication is awful. A couple weeks ago, we began looking at their school for our daughter- we knew it was late in the year to register, so we called, as the website instructed, to see if they had any openings. No answer, so we left message. We called back later that day, and no answer. The next day, we called again, left another message, and tried a different time, again no answer. We ended up just printing out the papers, writing the check, and delivering them to the address listed on the website, as the website instructs. There was no evident mailbox, nobody was there, and we ended up having to shove the papers under the front door. We called later that day (no answer) and left a message asking them to call us and let us know that the papers were received, and if there was no room, then to let us know so we could cancel the check. We called again the next day twice, the first was no answer, the next was answered by a young man who took our name and number and promised someone would call us. We called again the next day, and finally got a hold of the director. She told us she'd tried to call us (but my phone had no missed calls or messages), and that our daughter was in the class and they'd sent out a postcard that would arrive that day. We were relieved to have that all sorted! My daughter was ecstatic about the postcard, and we had everything carefully planned. Two days later, I checked my personal email and found an email from the director telling us there had been an "error" and that there was actually no room for our daughter. Our check had been cashed, so the funds were tied up and applying elsewhere wasn't possible without them, and every other school in the valley had already started or was going to start this week. She suggested waiting another 11 days and seeing if they could "hopefully fit her in", but "no promises". I was very unhappy that they had accepted my money, sent my daughter the confirming postcard that she would be attending, and then (again), did not call me when this came up, but emailed me. We got our money back and through some major scrambling on a Sunday night, were able to get her into a better school. The director is very nice. I don't have anything negative to say about her as a person. But if you're looking for a school that is prompt in communication and will make sure to do right by your child as a student and you as the "customer", then look elsewhere. The professionalism is lacking.
Do any of my Logan friends have recommendations for a good preschool?
