  If you can afford it go for the snell standard as the highest standard. Only two companies sell to this standard. Protector skull , they are based in Newdigate near Dorking and are the manufacturers so will hand make to the shape of your head with a personal fitting for no extra cost 01306 631374. Other is a HS1 sold by westgate but rely on sAddlers to do their fittings.

  They are based in Newdigate ! They sold the HS1 and name but now do a better one , they are called Parkgate equestrian now . 01306 631374. They do personal fittings by appointment for no extra cost. I used to work for them. Say gina said to call

  Hs1 and the PRO skull are the ONLY ones to this standard, so please if you can afford them, you only have one head ! We used to get letters in from thankful parents and riders that this standard hat had most definitely saved their life. They do the riding hat and the skull. http://www.parkgateequestrian.co.uk/
