  I'm looking for an inexpensive plumber. I had one out today who diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate but it was a lot higher than I had expected. The valve in my shower is leaking, the part is approximately $40 retail. I'm hoping to get a better quote than the one I got today for parts and labor or just labor and I'll buy the parts.   Jed at Hotline plumbers. We had a few estimates on our water heater. He was the lowest. He just went to my sister in law's house and tightened a pipe. All he asked for was a good Yelp review.   We had bad luck with plumbers until I found a plumber on yelp. Here is my review.Hotline Plumbing Category: Plumbing Neighborhood: Northridge 12/29/2013 My husband discovered our water heater was leaking on December 23. We discovered Jed on Yelp and decided to call him because of the great reviews. He offered to give us an estimate that day but agreed to come the next day because of our busy schedule. He showed up at the exact time of our appointment! He agreed to put in the water heater the day after Christmas. . He showed up on time and the price was reasonable. The work was finished in an hour! Jed is the smell good, honest and punctual plumber in the west valley. After having some bad experiences in the past we will never call anyone else.
