About us
Kinetic Martial Arts Wollongong is a dedicated martial arts club offering exceptional classes for kids, teens, and adults.
Specialising in the dynamic Korean martial art of Hapkido, meaning, the art, or way of coordinated power, our club encourages a culture of shared growth and development, with a strong focus on strength, fitness, and flexibility - both mind and body.
As a martial art, Hapkido is characterised by both powerful kicks and strikes, as well as dynamic throws, takedowns, locks, and chokes. Classes include both strength and fitness work, as well as technical self defence training, and people train for fun, fitness, and self defence. The practice of the martial art of Hapkido develops both a strong mind, and a powerful body.

I'm thinking about joining karate or kick boxing, and I'm wondering if anyone have a place they can recommend? Preferably cheap enough for a student to afford it

Not karate ot Kickboxing, but you could always consider The Hapkido club at UOW. Just started going and it's great, run by Kinetic Martial Arts with a trained instructor. $70 a month for 2 classes a week@URAC, but if you live near Cronulla(?) you can attend classes their too. Great stress reliever and awesome exercise. Only been going a few weeks but will happily vouch for their professionalism and expertise in the practice. Also free waterbottle! https://www.facebook.com/pages/UOW-Hapkido-Club-Kinetic-Martial-Arts-Wollongong/303034409742940?sk=timeline
