  I need help! My fur baby is in a lot of pain, with a significant spine injury in the neck area. I took him to the vet on Thursday and they gave Metacam and it seemed to help for a few hours the first day but now it doesn't seem to be helping. He is crying out in pain, panting like crazy, trembling like crazy, and his nose seems to be on fire. Does anyone have any suggestions that would help with the pain today.

  I would call Dr Eubank. Even low doses of aspirin can have side effects and I don't believe ibuprofen is recommended. Tylenol can cause bleeding if to much is given. Here's the # for the vet. 859-404-1651 or 859-489-9269
