  Exeter B&Bs We're staying in a cottage in Cornwall in summer and are considering breaking the journey on the way down by staying over for one night and visiting my old university haunts in Exeter. Two adults, one child and three dogs - the four-legged companions no doubt cutting down our accommodation options. I believe we could go down the Travelodge route but just wondered if anyone in that area has recommendations.

  You could try Park View Hotel which is fairly central in Exeter and near the University. It's run by volleyball friends of mine who have run the hotel for years. www.parkviewexeter.co.uk

  Park View Hotel are amazing and generally the cheapest with best breakfasts ever and just near the clock tower so its an easy walk into city centre. Their number is 01392271772 speak to Phil x
