  First thing to do is check the pressure it should b on 1 while boiler is cold, that's if you have a sealed system/combi boiler. The other thing is if it's the first time you have put heating on since the summer diverter valve maybe stuck in water position. There could be other problems but can only no by looking at it, hope this helps feel free to call 07969609064
