About us
As a licensed cosmetologist, Marianne Brown has been working as a hairstylist and makeup artist since 2000. After starting her education at Blaine Beauty Career School in Malden, MA, she landed her first job on Newbury Street, Boston, catering to the styles of this famous street's elite clientele. After 8 wonderful years in the city, she decided to branch out to another classy area just outside of Boston and settled in Newton, MA for 2 years. Since 2010 she has built and established her own brand that she is very proud of.
Alongside her bridal work, Marianne has also created styles for local magazines including Stuff@Night and Barstool, local runway shows, photo shoots, and a TV pilot.
As a well rounded hair and makeup professional, Marianne has always had a special place in hear heart for brides. "There is just something enchanting about being able to put that genuine smile on the face of a girl who is about to say 'I do!'"
Although Marianne and Below the Veil are Boston based, we welcome destination weddings. Our inmost hope is to make every bride look and feel as lovely as the moment she said, "Yes."
