Are there any vets that do in-home euthanasia in East Atlanta/Decatur area? I just moved to Atlanta with my sweet pup who has lymphoma. She's been seeing a vet here for chemo but in the last few days she's gone downhill fast and it's time to start thinking about letting her go. She is scared of strangers and hates going to the vet, so I'd like to have someone come to my house instead. Her oncology vet does not do this and we've never had time to get her a regular vet. Does anyone know of any vets that would be able to come to my house and do this for me?

So sorry to hear that you and your pup are going through this! Depending on your location in Decatur, I recommend the Village Vets Lilburn-Stone Mountain 770-717-1650 they do house calls.
Any dog boarding recommendations? (Our dog is an escape artist - so that does limit our options). Thanks in advance for your input.

Village vets at rockbridge and 5 forks by the Walgreens and Kroger. We have 2 dogs 1 of which has the escape artist gene. We and our dogs really love them. Contact info for them : 770-717-1650.
The Village Vets in Lilburn. Address is 1227 Rockbridge Rd. Stone Mtn. 770-717-1650. All the vets are super sweet and there's a lady there named Treasure who I taught her autistic son in K. He's prob 12 now. She's so sweet and caring. Go there seriously.

We go to Village Vets too. Love them. Not on Main Street ...

Depends on the kind of animal. For cats I recommend Dr. Housecat, she makes house calls and is easier on the cat and your wallet. For dogs, I agree with the village vets.
