I have a huge box full of closed, sealed food items (canned, bars etc) that I would like to donate to those in need. Any ideas if there's any organization in town that can pick it up? (it's incredibly heavy). thanks!

The Fair Lawn Health Department runs a food pantry that will accept your donations for local residents. Their office is in the municipal building. They may not have staff to pick up, but I am sure they can help make arrangements to get it from you if you call. Health officer is Carol Wagner@(201) 794-5327
Not sure what kind of contractor to reach out to. What kind of service person in the Fair Lawn area would one hire to take out household garbage cans on a weekly basis ?

Fair Lawn Dept. of Health and Human Services 201-794-5327 This Winter they were connecting residents to "snow shovelers" for pay. From what I remember of the article, some of the teens were members of a local Boy Scout Troop who donated their earnings back to the troop for ongoing events or just to charity.
