The first was to renovate a house that we bought, and the second was to remove the defective perimeter drains and reinstall new ones. The perimeter drains job was huge as everything around our house had to be removed including the deck, all cement, fences and the landscaping, the drains dug up, removed and then all of it re installed. Throughout it, despite the many problems due to the inferior job the original builder had done, Dave kept his sense of humor and stuck to his word about the price he was charging us. If you want a terrific and dependable contractor who will stick to his estimate despite escalating costs, choose Dave Edmundson and Avago and you won't be disappointed. He has excellent work ethics and you won't find anyone more honest or reliable.

I found Dave and his workers to be professional, timely and competitive in the execution of work done for us. His pricing is mindful, especially with the fact that he knew our over all plan and was willing to work with us to be as effective as possible within our economic plans/budget etc for our many properties on Vancouver island. Dave prides his company in quality and thoroughness. We /my partners and I also had to deal with situations where other contractors had not fulfilled their obligations and where their work had to be repaired and/or redone as things that were done by previous contractors were shoddy and not up to code and/or not completed etc. Dave was also very helpful in executing documents in and for court, (as a professional wittiness) as he was caring enough to help make sure that we were supported through a very trying battle with substandard contractor whom had taken advantage of us, (as we were absentee owners) etc. Basically the court case was extremely stressful as we were up against a horrendous situation dealing with someone whom had misrepresented themselves and had ran a contracting con scheme throughout Nanaimo etc. Dave was parramount in assisting in all aspects of assessing damages etc and was willing to show up whenever I needed him (which is rare amoungst contractors these days) All and all I highly recommend Dave Edmondson/ IHI Contracting and his long list of sub trades of which he has personally hand picked and worked with like a "well oiled machine" etc Dave is my "go to" person on Van Island, I only wish I could have him available to work on all our properties for all our companies outside the Van Island area, as we have 2 Holding Companies as well as personal holdings etc Cancorp Alberta Heather Park Vancouver
