  Seeking Info on building as owner-builder FREE - Waller, TX (77484) Looking for advice from others who built their house as an owner-builder/acting as their own GC or built a "kit" house. Interested in your experience, your end cost per square foot, etc. How did you finance it? Wed likely sub out: foundation, septic/well, rough plumbing, pulling of electrical, hvac, roofing, shower floor tiling, and probably drywall floating/taping/texturing. If we GC a traditional stick built probably also a framing team. Probably would sub out the granite install. Id be looking in the outlying regions from as r South as i-10, as far north as magnolia, and about 10-20 minutes outside of grand parkway (like Waller, etc)
