  I don't know what car you've got or what issues you're having with the car but personally I'd never change just the release bearing, you may as well change the whole clutch assembly as you are basically going to have to take the clutch off anyway. That doesn't sound right to me that you have to change the gearbox in order to change the release bearing. Unless you've got a separate problem with gearbox. Give Moven motors a call 01604591998 he's a good mechanic and a decent person, he will give you an honest assessment on what's required.
