Nick came out on 02/11/2016 and did the unwinterizing portion of our verbal agreement. Nick agreed that if I gave him $500.00 upfront that day he would... also winterize the home as well when it was time. That afternoon on 02/11/2016 I gave him the $500.00 and he advised me that he would give me my receipt for the next time I saw him which would have been within or in about a week or so when it was time to rewinterize the home. Lets just say I was not expecting to never see him again. I kept texing him to rewinterize the home and he never went. I then started to ask him to be reimbursed for the money that I already paid him for the work he never completed. After some time of calling and texing he agreed. It then took me more weeks to reach him to meet up for my refund. The last I heard from him was on 04/23/2016 where he advised he was going to meet me that evening to give me the money. I've tried to reach him ever since. I also found out he was not licensed at the time he did the work. He is currently being sued from another party for the same behavior and he needs to be stopped. I don't want anyone going through what we went through. Granted it's only $200.00 but for a young hardworking family its a lot. I want him to be stopped and I want people to be aware and to stay away. (Show Less of Complaint) Desired Resolution I would actually like to be refunded $275.00. He charged me $225.00 for the first service and I gave him $500.00 upfront and he never finished his part of the verbal contract. He also has another complaint on BBB where he stiffed another party of over 7,000.00 and is also being sued in Hartford Superior Court for $75,000.. Look him up its the truth. Please don't give him your hard earned money he is a crook.
