Back in May I was in Brooklyn with my brother Tommy, he graduated in '64, and we were looking for DelPonte's bakery, which was no longer there as some of you may know. This past weekend I was visiting a cousin in Ocean Grove, NJ and she asks if I want to take a ride to the bakery to pick up a birthday cake, we go to a bakery named Del Pontes in Bradley Beach, I ask the girl if she knows if by any chance they had owned a bakery in Brooklyn, she turns around and the back of the tee shirt says, " the best of Brooklyn is now in Bradley Beach" I couldn't believe it! So if anyone lives near there go in, the cookies and cake were delicious.
