The hairstylist was very nice and welcoming however, my hair turned out to be a train wreck. The bleach did not lighten my hair enough to get to the color I needed and the color applied afterwards only made it worse. I left JS and Co Salon with highlighter yellow hair. I have bleached my hair prior to this encounter, but the bleach JS used caused me to not only have an allergic reaction, but leave my scalp in cuts and scars. This leads me to believe that the bleach they used was improperly prepared or was very cheap to begin with. I went to two separate salons after and the stylists there were floored at what my hair looked like. It was unevenly colored, damaged beyond return, and the color of a lemon. Far from what I wanted. They worked to help me tone my hair down but after weeks of toning, it still looked horrible. I decided to wait it out and let my hair heal. After two months of waiting, I went to Salon De Christe where they finally fixed and got me to the color I initially wanted. Not to mention that the price I paid at JS was more than double what I paid at Salon De Christe. I remembered back to my JS salon appt and how my stylist was excited for her plans that night to go to the casino. Looking back now, I feel as if she was rushing through my appt and poorly completing my hair to get to her own plans. I am very disappointed in the work and results of JS and Co Salon. I would NOT recommend this salon.
