  anyone here mechanically minded? I have just spent too many $$ on my ute and the damn mechanic still doesn't know what the problem is...my battery won't charge, it's a 1993 toyota hilux diesel ute. I've had the alternator recon, new battery and a new regulator...my battery still goes flat, nothing seems to be charging it, my mech has no idea on where the problem is...anyone with an ideas on why my battery isn't charging?
