About us
Patrick DeBeliso has been a lifelong resident of Michigan. A piano technician and rebuilder since 1976, he embarked on a career in piano technology after completing a course of study with the respected Niles Bryant School of Piano Technology. He founded his company, PianoCrafters, Inc., in Plymouth, Michigan along with spouse, LuAnne in 1983.
As sole proprietors of the company, they, along with the small cadre of artisans under their employ, have steadily gained recognition regionally and nationally as one of the finest comprehensive restoration companies in the country. They perform the entire range of services, including action and keyboard work, dampers, and refinishing. Over the years, they have achieved prominence as specialists in Steinway pianos. The Steinway Company has even bestowed them special recognition as rebuilders of Steinway pianos, holding them up as an example of excellence and training for the Restoration Center at the factory on Long Island.
Evidence of their success as specialists in fine art pianos is found in the number of pianos they have restored for famous celebrities over the years. Pianos owned by Kenny Rogers, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Steven Stills are among instruments they have serviced or restored. World-renowned University of Michigan faculty Bill Bolcom and Martin Katz each own instruments restored at PianoCrafters.
