About us
Smiles 4 Kids are Pediatric dental offices with 3 locations that see children ranging from 1-20 years of age. Our doctors are pediatric specialists. This means they received 2 extra years of training beyond dental school, working with children and special needs patients.
The offices are designed to make your child comfortable in a kid friendly environment. Our offices are decorated in an airplane theme in tribute to Tacoma's local military base and large employer, Boeing. We have an HD TV playing kid friendly programs in the waiting room, as well as a TV with personal headphones above every dental chair. We understand that even with our great office environment, and our patient approach to treating children, some kids need more help relaxing in a health care setting.
Because of this, we offer varying levels of sedation to help our most fearful patients. Our offices offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and oral conscious sedation. We also offer in-office general anesthesia performed by a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. No matter your child’s comfort level in the dental office, we have the solution to provide them excellent oral health care!

Parent posts***I am in desperate need of a dentist for my boys. My oldest has autism and SPD, and my other little guy has SPD. Ideally, I am looking for a dentist who understands special needs kids and is willing to work with families to make a dental visit positive, rather than traumatizing. Another important factor is insurance - we have Molina. Thanks for the help!
