About us
My name is Marco Robinson, and I am a photographer who specializes in actor headshots based in Denver, Colorado.
I have an immense passion for several different forms of art. I am an actor, a singer, and a musical theatre nerd. I love film, and the blues. Through all of these forms of art I've been able to connect and communicate with people.
For as long as I can remember I have always loved having the camera in my hands. When I was little, I would take my dad's Minolta Zoom camera and take photos of everything. I always wanted disposable cameras for all of my field trips. When mom and dad would bust out the camcorder for the first day of school, or family reunions, I had to be the cameraman for a little bit.
It wasn't until I recieved my first DSLR in April of 2010 when I began to hone my craft as a photographer. I took pictures of everything: my dogs, landscapes, people, etc. I had found an art form and a creative outlet that made me hunger to learn and do more.
Being an actor, I've been in front of the lense for headshots, and now, I have the great advantage of being an actor behind the lense. I am confident that I am able to capture personalities just as they are, and market the actor in a way that fully represents them and all of their types. My love for acting, and performance sets me apart from the rest of the photographers out there. I have photographed actors in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Northern Colorado.
I also love capturing performance and events. I have shot for clients and bands in the Northern and Southern Colorado areas. Some clients include The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Ormao Dance Company. Springs Ensemble Theatre, Star Bar Players, WYNOT Radio Theatre, and the University of Northern Colorado Theatre.
I shoot Nikon and use both natural and artificial light (Nikon CLS) for my work.

Since my boy is only ten I just need some very basic shots (also at this age they change so fast). So, I was wondering which photographer is good for kids, has great quality work, and what might be a reasonable price for a sitting and prints? These shots would be used mostly for musical theater but we are also starting to look into some industrial and commercial work as well.
