Bottom line, this has been one of the worst experience I have had working with any person/company. I am still owed services or money; however the relationship has degraded to a point where I am willing to let him keep the money. This has been a 2-year ordeal with Mr. Meyer with constant excuses and disappointments. In 2014 I had seen Mr. Meyer working on a yard down the street in Apache Junction and inquired if he was able to maintain my yard. He was very personable and seemed like a hard worker so I opted to try Hedgehogz for my AJ property. I deposited enough money in Mr. Meyer’s bank account for one weed service. It was a challenge to get him to show up, but when he did, the work was satisfactory. I then decided to use him for two months of service. After we agreed on a price I was texted constantly (into late hours) "did you deposit the money yet?" I asked for an invoice before I deposited the money which seemed to be a problem for him, but I would not deposit the money without an invoice. After I received the invoice for service to be performed in August & September of 2014 I deposited the money was into Mr. Meyer's account. I was not able to get him to show up to my property until March 2015! In the mean time I did all the yard work myself. I accumulated a large pile of yard trimming and asked Mr. Meyer if he would at least pick up the yard trimmings. After a month of "no-shows" I had to pay someone else to haul the yard trimmings away. The excuses ranged from personal sickness, weather conditions, broken equipment, etc. When 2016 rolled around Mr. Meyer seemed to add amnesia to his litany of sicknesses; he did not remember me nor did he recall my payment for two months of weed treatments. After I refreshed his memory with his own invoice, he informed me the service was for two consecutive months...I couldn’t get him out for six months for the first service! So now he has my money and I only received half of the service I paid for. It is not enough to bother going to small claims court so I decided to use this forum to inform others about my experiences with Daniel Meyer DBA “Hedgehogz”
