About us
I picked up my first pro DSLR camera about 7 years ago & since then what was at first a hobby has now become a successful business and a much in demand service. Throughout the past few years I have steadily built up and improved my equipment from entry level gear to the professional end of the market, with Nikon's D610 and D700 being my current weapons of choice.
I have gone out of my way to learn the art of photography, from using and understanding my cameras to becoming highly proficient with off camera lighting from studio lights to working out on location with flashguns.
I have also used my natural flair for composition, along with learning from some photography greats, and having some great photographer friends who have been honestly critical about my work throughout the years, to try and perfect my picture taking ability.
Also I have gained a vast knowledge of the Photoshop programs from Lightroom through to the full CS range of Photoshop. I will always edit pictures where I see fit in order to enhance what was taken by the camera not repair what was taken, as my approach to shooting is to get it right in camera in the first place, then there is less editing to do anyway.
I have a great way with children, which probably stems from the fact I have 3, two boys and a girl, and I love them to bits. I have a very calm & relaxed approach to family portrait sessions and it always brings out the best in the subjects that I shoot, I always manage to get that all important cheeky smile that'll make your pictures stand out from the crowd.
