About us
Smokin Star BBQ began in 2010 with Pit Boss Aaron (North Carolina native) and Star Quayle as a competition barbecue team who had a love to cook and entertain, both in the kitchen, and at campsites. Having a palette for exceptional BBQ and after quick success thus far, it turned into regularly smoking for friends and family. Due to a huge demand we started catering all sizes of parties, weddings, graduations, sporting gigs and charitable events. We even have a contact in China who regularly has us ship meat to him for business meetings, family gatherings, and personal enjoyment.

Welcome to the meat mecca of Smokin Star BBQ, which has perfected the art of slow cooked meats using the most flavorful, aromatic, perfectly seasoned cherry & pecan hardwood and self taught recipes. Our heaping platters or meat by the pound includes several daily meat choices as well as holiday specials. The crispy, perfectly seasoned, rubbed bark envelopes the melt in your mouth succulent Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork and Brisket. Our meaty, juicy, perfectly textured, bite clean off the bone ribs are primal with a kiss of heat. All the birds brine overnight before the special rub is applied and the low and slow cook begins.
Diverting your attention from meat a little bit, but not too long; we want to point out a couple of our famous sides. The homemade cream corn is heavenly, creamy smoked potato salad is to die for, and The Pit Bosses fully loaded smoked baked beans could be a meal in itself. After you have over indulged yourself with a foodgasmic experience, be sure to try the worlds best home made banana puddin'!
