Our local small town appliance store recommended a set of GE machines (GTW460ASJWW and GTD42EASJWW) $500 for each delivery, hoses and cords included. The salesman seemed to think that the ability to use the “deep rinse” function was essential and that we should be using it every time we wash if we want our clothes clean. My wife wants a top load with agitator but could be convinced to go without the agitator but refuses to get a front load. We are looking in the 450 to 550 price range, What does everyone think?

  Maytag-MVWP575GW washer Maytag-MEDP575GW dryer These are the kings. There are no other. Mine just arrived last week. 5 year parts and labor warranty. Got mine from goedekers.com and shipping to like 3 weeks, but I got them for ~$1300 shipped. These are made on the commercial line at Maytag's assembly plant in Ohio and the only thing they are missing is a slot for quarters. Yeah, you can't wash 9 blankets like you can in a HE huge capacity machine, but you can say hello to 30 minute FULL TUB wash and FULL TUB rinse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpsrrjSXw5 o

  I recently got a Counter depth Samsung SS French door from www.goedekers.com........they are family owned store based out of Missouri......they did take a 2~3 of weeks to deliver (but that was during the July 4 th weekend)......I paid about 500 less compared to HD/Lowes (no tax at Goedeker's).....Talk to them to check stock before you order though
