Pamela S. replied:
Hi Jodi! YES! We do Music Together at Jungle Oasis and there are 13 classes a week. Check out our website at www.psstudio.ca or our Facebook page at Facebook.com/psstudiosmusictogether or you can message me for more info! It's an absolutely FANTASTIC program- but of course I would say that!
Hello everyone I'm wondering if there is any recommendations for someone to help a you g child with singing and vocal
Pamela S. replied:
Hey Rose! I have been teaching voice lessons since 2008. We now have a roster of 5 teachers at PS Studio which include teachers that specialize in Royal Conservatory, song writing, musical theatre and pop. We also teach guitar, ukulele and piano! If you're interested in trying out a class, give me a shout at 905-757-8675 or email me at pamelajascott@mac.com. Here is video of a performance of mine to give you an idea of my style: http://youtu.be/o93ROOdNB-Y
Hi. Looking for recommendations for voice lessons for my 7 year old son. He wants a place that isn't to hardcore....wants to have fun as well as learn☺. TIA
Pamela S. replied:
Thanks Carrie-Anne and Deanna! TriTone and New Opportunities are both wonderful places! We are so lucky to have a solid arts community in town. My studio is made up of 5 teachers and about 40 students. I would highly recommend your son work with a male teacher- boys love working with boys! I have a male teacher named Graham Maycock who is unbelievable. He has his grade 8 voice and piano and also specializes in guitar and song writing. His background is classical but his song writing is contemporary. If you're interested in trying it out, give me a call at 905-757-8675 😊
My almost 7 yr old Granddaughter loves to sing....and she's quite good....is there somewhere in town that offers singing lessons?

Hi everyone! I am quite late in responding to this thread- but thought I would say 'hello'. I teach voice/piano/and acting lessons as well as Music Together classes for families with little little ones. I am full at the moment with my private lessons, but you can take a peek at my website: www.psstudio.ca or you can give me a call at 905-757-8675 if you'd like to pick my brain. I specialize in Musical Theatre but comfortably dapple in Pop, Classical (including RCM exams), and song writing. I am heavily associated with Theatre Orangeville and I am proud to direct their Young Company every summer. I have 3 incredible teachers that help me balance the studio with over 30 students at any given time. Even if your child is not able to take with me, I am a huge advocate for the arts and I think you are doing your child a HUGE service by giving them the gift of music. It is an asset in SO many different ways- but my best advice, is to do it WITH them. Even if you think you can't hold a tune- sing with your child. You won't regret it- and they wont forget it :) (FYI Heather Katz is AWESOME, as is Sandy Pomeroy, Mark DuBois, Heather Campbell and Becky Prins- we are very lucky to have a lot of talented teachers in town)
