I give students a structure to develop a story idea using a variety of strategies and tools. Students work independently while still getting periodic feedback.
How will we work? We will talk about your ideas and projects, we will look at how style and visual choices work as storytelling tools and analyze the different strategies and techniques, choose a project to work on for the duration of the course
work on an idea into a framework for a story, understanding story atoms, and using script format. We'll draw warmups (Doodling, freedrawing, and sketchbooking)
approach to hand-drawn graytones, coloring and inking tools
