Just found out that i've got an intolerance to gluten and find that the gluten free products in coles and woolworths are quite expensive. Does anyone know of any places that sell gluten free products in the area that arent too expensive... tia.

I have to eat a gluten and msg free diet, but there are a lot of 'ingredients' on labels that contain natural msg, if you are anything like me, it's worth the time to read up about it as msg is also a part of the gluten family and can cause just as much damage. Fresh food is always best, I only eat unprocessed meat, rice, salad and veggies, and the occasional gluten free pasta and I found I have to make meals from scratch or it will make me sick. I prefer the woollies brand gf sr flour as it works the best. Mitchell's modern pantry has a large range of gluten free things :)
Would anybody know who sells or where I can get my hands on salty plums please????

Hi, I'm looking for Besan (chick pea) flour, for a cheese cake recipe. Neither Coles (By-lo) or Woolworths have heard of it (even though it is on the Coles web site). Any pointers as to where I could get some would be much appreciated. Thanks.
