A lovely session from Giggles & Cuddles Photography combines a bit of both newborn portrait and family lifestyle photography. It’s a great example of how siblings and parents can be part of the session and can relish the moment with that beautiful new addition to their family. Let us capture every priceless giggle and every treasurable cuddle that you have for your wee one.
When you think of babies what are those few things that come to your mind? Those little fingers and toes, those eyes filled with love and cute button nose, so pure and divine. Giggles and cuddles brings you those moments filled with smiles, laughter, love and warmth to relive them whenever you want.
SESSIONS
Custom portraiture is a unique experience. We strive to make each session a relaxing personalized experience. We never schedule more than one session per day, which you can rest assured that all our attention is on your child and there will never be a rush.
NEWBORN Session
We feel blessed to capture some of the very first moments of their lives. Your baby is all fresh and new; for those amazing, sweet, “curled” up images baby’s first 6-12 days are the best. Within this time newborns still have natural curl from the time spent in mommy’s tummy and tend to be sleepy and ‘pliable’ for posing.
To make your life already full of adjustments a little easier, we will come to your home and spend approximately 3- 4 hours photographing your new blessing. It sounds like a long time, but it gives us plenty of time for nursing, diaper changes and also that he/she may just get a bit cranky and need a cuddle. We will bring some props, but will happy to incorporate any special items you have. Newborn sessions are relaxed and... show more casual.
Newborns look their best dressed in plain one piece outfits or better still, naked. Clothes that work best for parents are black long sleeve tops, crisp white shirts (or T-Shirts) and dark colored bottoms.
To ensure a session, it is highly advised that you organize your session while you are still pregnant as we book up around 2-3 months in advance. While we will do our best to accommodate last minute bookings, to ensure the very best service for our clients, it is essential we're able to pencil in your due date well ahead of your baby's arrival.

BABY Session
If you have missed out on a newborn session, a baby session at around 6-8 months when your bub is sitting, is the next best thing or even better, because this is when you we can capture their sweet smiles and individual personalities.
Once your baby is able to sit up, the range of picture opportunities increases, as your baby plays with you and reaches out for (and chews on) all their favorite toys. A little older still at around 8 or 9 months is a fantastic time for very interactive baby pictures, and these sessions often have the added fun of your child beginning to crawl or sometimes stand for the very first time. Don’t miss out on the child’s first, tentative steps. These are the moments to be treasured forever.
TODDLER Session
Toddlers best images are produced when the session is fun. Best images are produced when the children are relaxed, comfortable and happy.
