  Knee Surgery for Dog Does anyone know of a vet (preferably near the Mid Cities, but anywhere in DFW is ok) that is not certified but still does knee surgeries on dogs? My dog has been referred to MedVet but they are very expensive and have a long wait. I spent the day yesterday trying to call random vets and couldn’t find any that do this surgery in house. He has already had knee surgery on 1 knee before I moved to DFW and now needs the other so I’m already familiar with the surgery and recovery process.

  Can anyone recommend an awesome, patient vet? We have a rescue who was hit by a car and had to have operations on his feet. He is terrified of the vet. I have to muzzle him and have sedated him before bc he will get aggressive. If the vet is patient and doesn't show fear, he does much better. We just moved from Frisco and I never really found an awesome one up there.

  Dr Claybrook at Hillside Vet on Mockingbird lane. It is not super close but so worth it. I rescued a dog that had been abused and the 1 st year was really tough but she stuck with us and encouraged and offered so much guidence. 214-824-0397
