  Does anyone know anything about a company call Atlantic Energy? They came into Bay Sweet Cafe in partnership with ConEd to present a LED alternative to Florescence lighting When I phoned ConEd I was informed that they are in fact authorized to contact business so off we went Happy to be on the receiving end of the FREE new light bulbs. Well the light bulbs arrived and we asked do you install them or do we and the response was "You do" so we did and within 10 minutes we smelt burning electric and smoking coming from the fixture. That was yesterday and the company has been contacted NIck the operations director at 1-800-0372 and the sales rep Zachary Agatiello 646-639-0372 who was nice but did not fulfill his promise to call back with a confirmed repair person or the direct phone number for this company AGAIN today we have little lighting in the Cafe and we sit a wait for a repair person. Any Ideas? Anyelse has experience with this or them ?? On a bright note the Fish Fry is going on strong and delicious

  You might try calling an established electrical contractor, such as Kinetic Electric on Forest, and pick their brain. I would say, ask for Doug McKenzie, the Owner (assuming he hasn't retired) and say Kinetic came highly recemmended, but that you are just wondering why installing LED lamps in lieu of fluorescant might cause such a reaction, etc. etc. http://kinetic-electric.com/
