Anyone know a good place for Scoliosis treatment? Muscle imbalance, muscles that don't release with regular physio, massage, acupuncture, stretching???
Robyn-Jane B. replied:
Therapeutic horse back riding could be a option . The movement of the horse is similar to the human stride . Riding can help build overall body symmetry and balance . There’re contraindication though for riding and scoliosis. The degree of curvature has be be below a certain number and riding is not permitted with a Harrington rod. There is also weight limit for therapeutic riding www.pards.ca
Hey Everyone, I'm looking to donate a horse to an Equine Assisted Therapy program. Can anyone tell me if there are any in the area or know of any in AB?

I've been searching Google with no luck, so I thought I would try here. My place of employment is looking to sponsor an autism charity/program this year. I am wondering if anyone knows of any in GP and/or has any information?
My tack room is out if control and need to get it organized. I know I have some extra supplies. Is there any equine rescue places in the area that I can donate to?
