Looking for recommendations for a greyhound friendly hotel at Jekyll Island beach.

A lot of the hotels now take dogs. The Beachviewclub.com has high ratings and I am pretty sure they take dogs. The new Holiday Inn I believe does as the Hampton Inn. I think the Oceanside inn/Suites does but not very highly rated and I definitely do not recommend the Quality Inn. I think most of the hotels I first mentioned run very close in price. The Jekyll Island Club does not take dogs and I do not think the new Westin does either. For a good place to eat The Driftwood Bistro is the best restaurant on the Island. If you go ask for Breta (sp) very funny waitress. They also have a New Mexican restaurant that I hear is very good. Skip the restaurant at the mariner. Can't think of the name but the food and service lacks horribly. For a very nice dinner Courtyard at Crane Cottage is very good. Less expensive than the JI Club and much better. Reservation required. Hope this helps and have a great time.
