  I have a desperate plea - is there anyone you can recommend for the Contra Costa County area, specifically the Brentwood/Byron area? Morgan Hutchings one of your wonderful farriers is moving out of this area and I absolutely love what she has done for my horses hooves in the short time she has worked on my horses hooves and I would love to continue to great progress. I have a large Percheron cross who was "bare foot" when he came to us and I was considering putting shoes on him as his hooves chipped all the time and my mare had shoes but her hooves seemed weak. Then fate happened the farrier I had never showed up I was searching for another an found Morgan. I removed my mares shoes and Morgan painstakingly worked on both horses to such a success of their hoof walls are strong, they no longer break and I'm just so happy that I'm filled with horror in getting someone who "knows" barefoot but not really. I do not want my horses to revert back but would like them to continue forward, can you recommend someone in Northern California for me to contact. Desperately Signed - Margaret

There is another AANHCP practitioner in Northern California (Sarah Wilfarht) but we are not sure how far she is from you.
