My parents would tell you they "knew" I was going to do something in the arts from when I was very young, and did things like draw elaborate scenes with scented markers on the underneath of our kitchen table. Fast-forward to adulthood with a career in numbers, and artist in me needed an outlet. Over time, my photography hobby worked its way into that void and grew into a business. My favorite part about being a photographer is knowing that people will treasure some of the moments you capture more than any other possession...especially as time marches on and we are forced to live without some people in the photographs.
Giving back is important to me, and to model for my children. I've been known to donate sessions in the name of fundraising for American Cancer Society, Delta Gamma Service for Sight, and local preschools. When I'm not wielding my camera gear, you may find me teaching your Spin class at the gym, blowing bubbles with my 3 year-old, trying out a new vegetarian recipe, running with my 10 year-old, golfing with my hubby, or most likely...working away on your photos until 5 A.M.!.
