  Does anyone know a place where I can get my dog fixed that won't charge a arm and a leg. She's a German shepherd/lab mix about 30 to 40 pounds maybe.

  The DeKalb County Adoption Center (shelter) will do spay/ neuter, shots and microchip for I believe $75, that's a deal! # 256-304-0474. Or Contact Freda Waters of the local Humane Society, they have vouchers ( not always some time they run out) where you can get a spay/neuter for a small donation# 256-845-9463. You could also go to The Friends of DeKalb County Animal-Adoptions page on here, they have been posting several places who offer low cost spay/neuter.
