Linda O. asked:Our air conditioner started having problems 3 years after we moved into our newly built home in 2006. Every year, we have to have someone come out to check our air conditioner. It will not work. The people we have done business with are not very smart. All they want to do is to sell us a new air conditioner, but they do put Freon in it. That keeps it going for another summer. Actually, the pipe has a small leak in the pipe in the attic. They say that they don't repair leaks. They just sell new air conditioners. The guy told us last year, that we'll HAVE to buy a new one this year. We have used several different air conditioner companies, without good results. None of them know how to repair things. Does anyone know someone who is honest, dependable, knowledegable and does not charge am arm and a leg? This air conditioner should have been fixed the first year it gave us a problem. A guy moved over here from OK and was planning to fix it for us, but changed his mind and never came. It is getting awfully hot and we do need this air conditioner fixed, once and for all.
