  I use IDEAL Pest. Started using them after I dog-sat for a lady at church whose dog was full of fleas. Now I have them come out 3 times a year (quarterly from Mar-Sep). I have them treat my backyard for fleas & ticks and just treat my house for other pest. They use "SAFE FOR PETS" treatments, but you do need to keep your dogs away from the treatment for 2-3 hours to make sure it dries. So I have them inside. But when they had to do the inside, when that lady's dog infested my house, I took my dogs to the Dog Park for 4 hours (4 hours just to make sure). I have IDEAL flea/tick my backyard since the other side of my fence is all woods & prairie. And, on occasion, I have a opossum living in a tree that is right next to my fence-line. So I want to make sure my yard is treated, along with my monthly topical treatment on my dogs. (I also have IDEAL for my security system) http://www.idealpartnerstx.com/
