About us
Michaela opened ‘The Gallery’ salon in Congleton in June 2011, her first salon which has proved to be very successful in its first year, offering the perfect mix of talent, professionalism, experience, atmosphere and customer care. Michaela has 14 years’ experience training with John English and Stephen Miller. She has managed 3 salons, and is trained in Wella, Loreal and Matirx. She has further qualified in men’s hairdressing, perming and customer care, and specialises in Bridal Hair and Beauty (make-up). Michaela is fully qualified to do NSI nails, Nailtiques and Bio Gel (Bio Sculpture). -
Initially Michaela was joined by James Shore. James has many years of experience, running his own salon in Congleton ‘Hair and Beauty by James’, for 5 years leaving to follow a career in modelling for a number of years. More recently James has worked at Francesco for 8 years, and Vittorin Carratu in Switzerland for 3 years. James has won awards for his colour techniques, and specialised in cutting, styling and evening/cocktail style hair. He has lectured and trained students in both hairdressing and modelling. He is a well-known Congleton Character and is renowned for his Shirley Bassey impressions, modelling and theatrical appearances, he gives a delightful light-hearted ambiance to the salon. -
Joining The Gallery to complete her training with Michaela – is Lucy. Lucy did her training for three years through the Saks Academy in Altrincham and has completed level 2 and 3 in creative hairdressing. She has been hairdressing now for 4 years. Lucy has a diploma in UV Gel Nail Extensions, and Gel Polish. She does Galvanic Facial Treatments (which is a non-surgical process for renewing elasticity to the face and body) and is interested in training for other beauty techniques. She provides a relaxing experience for the salon’s clients.
In 2012 we were joined by Georgina who came to us after finishing her nvq level 2 at college, then she joined us to finish her nvq... show more level 3 witch she has now fully qualified.
