Does anyone have any information regarding a local place/farm where I can buy pasture raised meats?
Marisa S. replied:
kcfoodcircle.org can hook you up. There are a lot of factors in this - like how much do you want, dou yo want a CSA type set up? Where do you want to pick up? Personally - I love Parker Farms. <3 Let me know if you want CSA info, I can send you a great flier on those that still have openings. http://kcfoodcircle.org/business-directory/

Brookside Farmers Market opens Saturday, one of the featured markets of the KC Food Circle. There are usually a couple of farmers there selling meats if you are more interested in a week to week, as you need type thing.

Wells Family Farms will be at Brookside on Saturday. They are KCFC members and are listed on the KC food circle site. When Badseed opens in May you can meet the Parkers that Marisa mentioned. Lots of good options!

Hey guys, I'm writing a speech on eating local, and all-natural. Can you give me a couple restaurants that serve local, all-natural food?
Emily A. replied:
Trevor , check the list of restaurants participating in the KC Food Circle's Eat Local and Organic Dining Card - we have about 15 restaurants, many of which have been mentioned here. The list is on our website- www.kcfoodcircle.org
