Anyone recommend a quiet, low traffic and good vet in the area? My dog has some anxiety issues around other dogs.

Hello everyone !
does anyone know a walk in clinic for animals or a vet , that's not going to charge me an arm and leg to bring my cat in for a ingrown dew claw ? I would appreciate any referrals .

This place has been reasonable in what they've charged me in the past few years. http://www.ashbridgesbayanimalhospital.ca
Need a good reputable vet please!
I think our poor dog has an infection In his gums. I'm truly hoping it's not an expensive outcome but would love a vet that has doesn't have $$'s in mind but the animal's health as top priority. TIA

ISO - Good Veterinarian who won't charge me over the silliest things. Down to earth, reasonable and knowledgeable.

I'm not sure. Maybe Kelly? My experience is, they are all good. Do you know you can walk in with any dog and weigh it for free? I assume it is still a free service. I've weighed my dog a couple of times, for free, at: http://www.ashbridgesbayanimalhospital.ca

I'll tell my Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital story again. My dog suffered a cruciate ligament injury. I diagnosed it myself from online research and I knew the cure was very expensive surgery. I walked into Ashridges with my dog walking on three legs and said "I think my dog needs an $8K operation on his cruciate ligament". The vet did a "drawer test" and said, "Maybe not. Don't let him exert himself for six months, don't let him off-leash, to see if it heals". I said, "I think he needs something for the pain" and the vet said "get him some aspirin". I said "Doen't he need anti-inflammatory drugs for the swelling?" and she said "Ice his knee". The cost of the visit and treatment: $90. Restoring my faith in veterinarians: priceless. And, the treatment worked. Two years later his knee is AOK.
