About us
This family business began way back in 1948, with Gerald's Grand-father. He started out as "Buechting Plumbing". Some time in the early 60's, the next generation took over and the name changed to "Imperial Drilling". And it began on the very same property that is is on now 66 years later, in Imperial, Missouri. The business returned to it roots.20 years ago on 9/9/1994, Gerald was only 17 when he began drilling, and has been doing it for 43+ years now. Fate works in odd ways. Due to a business deal that came about, we felt that we could NOT pass up, it was time to branch out on our own. Here is where the name change came back into play. We decided that since our last name was well enough established and known, we would once again use Buechting Drilling Co., Inc. So, since '94 we have gone by that moniker. We began with drilling all over the nation doing Methane Extraction holes in landfills or to drill any kind of hole needed. Finally settling on doing residential & commercial water well drilling with the odd job here & there. Not only do we drill the hole for your well, but we also install the pumping system and when necessary, we do all system checks & repairs. Please call if you have questions or just need info.
