I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've been behind a camera since I was 7-years-old.
What I love about photography is the ability to capture a moment -- that one small, seemingly insignificant moment -- and see it tell a story years afterward. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been fascinated by my grandparent's pictures from their lives as children and by those of our family from long before them. People like Charles Spurgeon and Randall McCoy -- they didn't know the history they were making as they sat for photographs.
This is why I take pictures. To find and keep that one instant, that one little spark in life, that is able to tell people who come after me the story of my world.
