  GEM Martial Arts. You can buy starter uniforms from them. $50/month for 1 class per week. $90/month for 3 classes a week, plus one private lesson. Sensei Gail and Sensei Zach are great with kids...and adults too. http://gemmartialarts.com/

  Sensei Gail Gail E Maslich was with Murray's Martial Arts Center for 11 years until she opened her own dojo. GEM Martial Arts behind Rochester Lenolium on Ridge Rd is fantastic. I brought my son in for classes to boost his self esteem and confidence. A few months later, the whole family signed up. Couldn't ask for a better learning environment. What's also nice is that there is no contract. My kids are involved in a bunch of activities, it's nice to be able to work around them.
