  Can someone recommend a property surveyor? We have a lane that goes behind our houses to several garages. The city says it's a private lane but I don't know who owns it so I guess a survey is called for. I'm pretty sure we didn't get one when we purchased the house but I'll check that to be sure.

  Most old land surveys are available online at landsurveyrecords.com it costs to see them but is cheaper than having a new one completed.
